BRIEF PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF BRO. JOHN ABILI ABOUT HIS SALVATION

Born in 1961, 7th October, Baptized as a baby by sprinkling.

 On the 6th May, 1990, was confirmed as a communicant of the church. About three years later, I was made a life member of Bible Society of Nigeria, Bakana Auxiliary of Christ Army Church of Nigeria supreme headquarter, Bakana, Rivers State.

At this time, I lived in immortality and I was a drunkard. I always soak myself in alcoholic beverage. I drink like fish in the river bat never drunk.

A friend of mine invited to Port Harcourt independent Baptist on the 9th of June, 1996. During the alter call, I came out and was led to Christ by the missionary pastor. There I received Christ Jesus by faith as my Lord and personal saviour and my only way to go to heaven.

The following week, being 16th June, 1996, I was re-baptized by immersion by the missionary pastor. Three months later, I found myself living a different life which my wife and other close neighbors can testify as a born again Christian.

August 1996, I applied for admission into the bible institute but I was not admitted because I was just three months old in Christ. I was later admitted into the Bible institute in February, 1997. I graduated in 2004 as the first graduate of the institute (pastoral theology).

From 1997, when I became a full time soul winner, I knew that I am a debtor in a bond slave to my Lord Jesus Christ.

Today, I am saved and sent as a bonds lave working tirelessly in His vineyard. I am always glad to be a bondslave of  Jesus Christ, To God be the glory
