I was thirteen years old when I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in a small church in Barbourville, Kentucky. After moving to Michigan I joined Open Bible Baptist Church in Belleville, Michigan and have since been faithfully serving the Lord and active in soul winning. In 1973 Open Bible Baptist Church and Ysilanti Baptist Church merged and formed FaithWay Baptist Church.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
I became a widow in May 1998, when the Lord called my husband home after a battle with leukemia. Harold and I had faithfully served the Lord together after he was saved in June of 1972. We were happily married for more than 29 years and were blessed with two wonderful sons. The oldest, Jeffrey, and his sweet wife, Robin, adopted a beautiful little girl named Michaela in 2004. My other son, Rodney, not married yet, graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College in Wisconsin.
What it means to me to be a part of AGM:
I was introduced to Amazing Grace Missions by C. B. and Dorothy Boger. I had the privilege of working with them at a festival in London, Kentucky. It was such a wonderful blessing to see so many people open to the Gospel and accepting the Lord as their personal Savior. I was officially accepted as a missionary in January 2005. My heart’s desire is to work as many fairs and festivals as possible. “As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:15b
