A Typical Day

On a typical day, Im up by 6:00 to 6:30.  Ill begin by preparing a bowl of oatmeal.  HEY, come on this is exciting stuff!  While my oatmeal is cooking I will begin my quiet time with prayer.  After Ive eating the oatmeal, Ill return to prayer time, reading some Oswald Chambers, and the Bible for about an hour.  Then I will begin my college lessons from Andersonville Theological Seminar by listening to lectures on tape or reading text books, etc. for about two hours.  Usually Im wrapping up these activities by 10:00a.m.  Then I begin looking over my email (which I get tons of) related to AGM stuff, and respond to the things I need to right away.  Then Im usually onto some website problems, some project, or other item in need of attention with my AGM duties.  Of course all of this activity is on the days we are not working a fair schedule.  On the days of a fair schedule, we of course will work the fair, and we will try to fit these other AGM activities around the fair schedule.

For example, on this day, I spend hours trying to sort out some website problems which just pop up out of no where.  And as is the case sometimes I was not able to get the problem resolved without sending emails to tech support for two different companies, and now waiting for their reply.  Oh well, you get used to it after a while.  And, of course, our Verizon wireless does not work nearly a well as advertised and is down or painfully slow 50% of the time.

The rest of this day, I spent on completing some last minute preparations for the Training to be done on Wednesday night, and pulling out of storage all of the churches fair equipment they had purchased and loading into vehicles (with the help of Roger & Nathan Poland of course) for transport to the fair grounds on Wednesday.

I ended the day with Roger & Judy at the Poland family residence for a nice dinner.  We had the best chocolate pie for desert I have ever eaten.  Carol was not able to come because she was experiencing a very bad sinus attack with a bad headache.  So I ate her pie too -

I know how those computer problems seem to come out of nowhere.

Man, you're almost as busy as me! Just kidding. Keep up the good work. I'm glad you ate Mom's pie! You could have taken it home to her, though......

Opps, Jen the thought never even crossed my mind. I guess all I could see was more of that PIE!
