Tow Truck Ride

At about 9:30pm the crowd had pretty much thinned out, and just a few "strollers" were coming by.  One young couple came walking right up to the door unit and wanted to see the "Three Things God Has Never Seen."  So, of course we were more than happy to show them.  After a quick look I asked them the question: "Are you 50% 75% or 100% sure you're saved?"

The next question I asked was "If you could just see how to be 100% sure, you'd want to see that wouldn't you?"  Their response was the same as most - YES!

The couple (pictured with me) came in and sat down, and after about 30 minutes they had prayed to receive the gift of eternal life from our Saviour Jesus Christ.  They were elated.  The transformation on both of their faces was something to behold.  They expressed a desire to continue in knowledge about the Lord, and even talked about baptism, and church attendance.  It certainly was a "sweet" ending to the day of fishing for the souls of men.  All toll, 12 hours of fishing brought 12 souls.  It took a lot of fishing this day to catch 12, when thousands are walking by rejecting, and then to see the ones who reject after seeing the truth in the booth.  We affectionately call them "jumpers," they didn't want to get caught today and jumped out of the boat.

We ended this day of adventure as we began, with both of of us working past 11p.m on some more administrative stuff, website stuff, etc.  What will happen tomorrow.........?

Hi Carol and Glenn. You know, you have to ride at lest one ride when you go to the fair.(haha)even a tow truck ride can count. I like the name you have given to those who jump out of the boat. "jumpers" take care, GOD bless. See you soon.
Love in Christ, Bill and Jerry

Still reading the blog and praying for you. Betsy Grace prayed for MeMaw and PaPaw (and Buddy) last night. She asked God to keep you safe while you tell people about Jesus. Love you!
